BMW Is Predicting 100,000 Electric Vehicles A Year By 2020

Demanded  for the BMW i3, in the US and Europe, it appears that BMW's little project  has a steady increase  by 2020, according  to Norbert Reithofer the  CEO  of management for BMW, is that the company expects to build 100,000 units annually,  not quite as many as  its rival Tesla  that is talking about 500,000 units  by 2020, this would  represent an increase from the roughly 20,000 units for  the best selling  plug-in vehicle  moved in 2013. Reithofer  had told Automotive News that plug-in vehicle production would steadily increase by 2018 before hitting full at the end of this decade.

Plug-in electric vehicles are just a small part of BMW's effort to reduce emissions,  but BMW's collaboration with Daimler and Renault/Nissan is supposed to launch the  world's 1st affordable, mass marketed  fuel cell electric vehicles as early as 2017.
